3-Day IT Seminar & AI Reverse Hackathon

ISPSC — Candon Campus, with the IT Student Organization

3 days · In-person · Candon City, Ilocos Sur

An industry-led seminar on AI fundamentals that turned straight into building. Days one and two mixed talks and hands-on tool work; day three was presentations, awarding, and certification.

  • Seminar on AI fundamentals and emerging tech trends
  • Hands-on workshops using ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini on actual tasks
  • AI Reverse Hackathon — teams solving real organizational challenges
  • Final prototypes presented to a live panel of faculty and mentors

Outcome: Participants received certificates of participation, and the winning team was recognized by BayanAIhan and the host campus.

5-Day AI Intensive — On-the-Job Training

BSIT students, ISPSC — Candon Campus

5 days · In-person · OJT group

A week-long practicum that replaced routine OJT placement with real AI work. Students went from theory to shipping a project they could put in a portfolio.

  • Agentic AI concepts — multi-step reasoning and autonomous workflows
  • Advanced prompt engineering for professional-grade output
  • Mentor-guided builds using industry tools and frameworks
  • Capstone presentations to mentors and faculty on demo day

Outcome: Students completed their OJT hours, earned a BayanAIhan training certificate, and presented a working AI project.
